About Luna
I'm Luna, a three year old greyhound x staghound and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I love nothing more than basking in the sun, eating toast for breakfast and last but not least... walks! I'm not a fan of cats, so my new family will need to be dog people through and through (but we all know they're the best kind of people anyway).
Luna is an incredibly beautiful girl with a heart of gold. She loves her daily routine, which includes waking up for some breakfast, going outside to soak up some sun and get some exercise, and then coming inside to take a nap. She's a big fan of walks, and will happily go for 3-4km on the lead. Luna also loves playing with the two big dogs in her family - when they're around she's truly in her element.
Luna also has good manners: she sits, waits patiently (mostly), and recalls unless distracted by another dog or cat outside the fence. She's used to being taken to work with her owner in an aged care facility, where she was great at interacting with residents and allowing them to pet her. Although Luna can live in an apartment if necessary, her forever family will need to lead an active lifestyle and be committed to walking Luna regularly.
Luna has a high prey drive and for this reason she cannot be homed with small pocket pets or cats. Her new family will need to be sure that their fences are high and secure and to supervise her while out in the garden.
