About Lacey
Meet Lacey! This stunning girl is genuinely lovely and a faithful companion. Lacey is affectionate and loves to be by your side. She is highly intelligent and eager to please and will thrive in a home where she can be with her humans most of the day. A work-from-home or retired owner would be perfect for Lacey!
This loyal girl will follow your lead. She will bark at a visitor, but if you greet them, she will welcome them inside, especially if they are a food delivery person!
If you asked Lacey about her favourite things, she would tell you she loves running. Going to the park and running this way brings joy to her heart. Treats and pats also get her tail wagging!
Lacey has spent some time around children and happily seeks them out for playtime. She can be very fast when she's excited and running about, so school-aged children she won't accidentally bowl over would be ideal.
Lacey has a few close doggo friends and has met many dogs while hanging out at the dog park. When meeting unfamiliar dogs, Lacey is usually on alert at first. She relaxes quickly around calm, friendly dogs and tends to feel most comfortable when meeting other dogs off her leash. If she comes across a dog lacking good social skills, she will show them she is displeased. As they back off, Lacey will relax again. As she is a bit of a choosy girl regarding canine friends, a dog-savvy owner who can understand her would be ideal!
Whilst Lacey might enjoy the country air, she will require more than farm fencing to keep her safe and secure, as she is a little too interested in wildlife and livestock. Therefore, Lacey would best suit a home without cats or pocket pets. As a dog more interested in her human than anything else, Lacey will be perfectly content to be the only pet.
Lacey has completed obedience training and, for the past two years, has been attending weekly training sessions with the German Shepherd Dog Club and has progressed to a graduate class. Lacey also travels well in a car. This amazing girl is well-behaved indoors and is crate-trained and toilet-trained. All Lacey needs is a decent-sized yard and you!

From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
