About Zoe
** Zoe has tested positive to E.canis and has been placed on a 28 day course of anti-biotics to treat the symptoms**
It recommended by DPIRD that all dogs being moved into, out of, within northern WA, or areas where E. canis may be active are:
* not showing any signs of E. canis
* treated with a registered tick product effective in the prevention of the brown dog tick
* taken to a veterinarian if they begin showing signs of fever, lethargy or weakness, bleeding or bruising, not eating or weight loss.
Hi, I'm Zoe the puppy! And I'm here looking for my home.
I'm a sweet and gentle little girl who loves to be around people and other animals. I would say I have medium energy so while I love a good game of tug-of-war, or chasing after toys, afterwards I am happy just cuddling up in my bed and taking a nap.
I get really excited when it's time for food; you'll know by the way that I jump up and down and spin around! But don't worry - with some patience and consistency from you, we can work on teaching me better manners for meal times (if you want).
I also enjoy getting onto the couch with you to snuggle up - but only if you give me the okay first! Otherwise, I'll stay off until invited.
If you're looking for an adorable companion to join your pack then look no further than me! Fill out an application today so we can meet soon :)
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
