Boomer

Boomer is very good with kids. His carer has two kids - 5 and 7 year olds - and Boomer even lets them ride him like a horse. He is very kind and loves being part of the family.

Boomer likes to spend time with the family while practicing recalls. Even when a stranger walks past the front yard, Boomer comes when called even if the fence is only at hip-height.

On hot days he likes to sit in the water in the clamshell. He will also dig a hole in the yard to keep cool. He likes chasing the hose, which helps him spend excess energy.

Boomer happily walks on a lead, and enjoys camping.

He also does not tolerate having clothes on the washing line. He will pull them all from the line and then forget about them. Boomer is still learning to not do this.

He did not get carsick on car rides to the vet. The carers have not seen any sign of aggression from him in the few weeks that they've had him.

Boomer was timid at first and boisterous, but after about one and a half weeks he adjusted to being in an enclosed yard and taking instructions from his new carers.

He is house trained However he is quite content as long as the family spends some time with him in the yard at least once a day.

Overall he is a very good dog

He will suit a family with kids that has love to give, and has experience and patience training dogs.
