About Meatball
Introducing the handsome Meatball. Meatball is a Rottweiler x born 1st August 2022.
This wiggly guy was brought in to the facility as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for him.
He's quite a chunky boy & very friendly, so he's clearly been well loved. We're all so confused as to why no one has come forward to claim him.
Meatball is a super sweet young man who loves nothing more than spending time with people. Being 8 months old he is still a bouncy puppy, just in the form of a larger dog. As he is fairly large & boisterous we are recommending a home with no elderly so he can't accidentally knock them over.
Meatball tested well with other dogs, he's just a little confused about how to play & interact. He has a lot of enthusiasm! If you have another friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with him to ensure they get along before going home.
Meatball was scared but curious of cats. At this stage we are recommending a home with no cats.
Meatball didn't test well with pocket pets, so he will need a home with no chickens or rabbits etc.
Meatball shows no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression towards humans.
Sweet Meatball enjoys playing with rope toys, but seems unsure how to play with balls. He has a zest for life & you can't help but smile when you're around him.
Meatball is such a loving guy who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Meatball, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Meatball's adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Meatball is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Meatball is currently located at East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
