Meet Zya, the adorable and affectionate pup who is looking for her forever home! Zya is a sweet girl who will greet you with kisses and a waggy tail when you come home. She has met a variety of dogs during her time in care and has adapted her play style to suit each of their sizes and personalities.

Zya is a fast learner and has already mastered basic commands like sit, down, and waiting for her food. She is highly motivated by treats and positive reinforcement, making her a breeze to train. She also loves car rides and is a great travel companion. Zya is well on her way with toilet training and is crate trained, which means she sleeps comfortably in her crate overnight. Zya is a great mix of affectionate and independent. She will lap up and love that is on offer but is also equally content to entertain herself, explore the yard, or just chill in the sun. She is going to grow to a size between 20-30kg and will have moderate exercise needs so she will still need a home that will enrich her with adequate daily physical and mental activities. She will require ongoing socialisation with other dogs with known friendly dogs preferably in settings like play dates or pack walks, rather than at dog parks with unknown dogs.

Zya is looking for a home that will treat her as part of the family and include her in their daily activities. She is looking for a family that is committed to gradually exposing her to new environments and situations. With patience and positive reinforcement, Zya will become a well-rounded and confident young pup. She will be comfortable in an only dog home if someone is home most of the time, but would also love to share her home with another doggy companion. She has not yet been exposed to kids or small animals, however due to her age, we feel she would be fine with proper introductions.
