I've been adopted!
About Sunny - 4 Month Old Border Collie X (Trial)
Hi, I’m Sunny and as my name implies, I’m a ray of sunshine. Think of me as a party boy, I have an infectious enthusiasm to play and make you smile. Still just a pup, of course my favourite thing is doing puppy things like zoomies and games. In foster care with another young pup, I’ll play heaps until I need a nap, then I’ll have a snack and repeat. I make friends really easily and would love the company of another dog. Though I’m fine on my own, I’m really too sociable to be in a home where I’m left on my own all day.
Kids love me and I love kids. If you’ve got a lap or a cuddle going, then I’m your dude. Whilst I’m learning not to show my enthusiasm by jumping, it’s best I go to a home where there are either no young children I’ll knock over or to a home where you’re prepared to be patient. I know I’ll learn not to jump but you need to keep reminding me until I’ve nailed it.
Everyone says I’m super bright, so a really easy pup to train. Not only will I become a very good boy when trained, but it will help me burn up some of my energy. Zoomies with a playmate is great, but some mental stimulation is important too.
I am crate trained and sleep through the night. I’ve learnt to use a doggie door and have mastered toilet training. Sleeping inside is important to me as my people are my pack.
So are you the family for me, to walk, play and train me to be my best self?
Sunny's adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Sunny is in foster care in Anna Bay, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Sunny, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions, you can send an email to seige1@yahoo.com.au.
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name NOT just the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
