Wheatus is a cheeky little fella who loves his chew toys and chasing around his doggie friends. He will say hello to anyone he passes while out for a walk just to get some pats and cuddles. He loves being the centre of attention and will follow you around to make sure he’s not missing out on any fun!

He would love another doggy companion to play with and would benefit from having a mentor who he can learn from.

If he’s to be home by himself, he will require some heavy-duty chew toys to keep him engaged as he will find something else to chew if he’s left alone for 6+ hours a day. Currently he briefly whines when being left alone but will settle within 10-15 minutes.

Wheatus is toilet trained and uses a doggy door for outside access. He loves his food and can be a little sneaky if his foster sister hasn’t eaten hers quickly enough.

He is currently sleeping in a crate as to stop middle of the night play sessions but prefers to sleep on the couch with his foster sister so they can snuggle together.

He travels well in the car but usually requires some encouragement/helping hand to get in. He would greatly benefit from some basic training as he is still a puppy and requires learning some boundaries and calming behaviours.

Wheatus would love a family who will include him in their daily lives. He would be suited to a home with kids over the age of 5, as at times he is quite playful and can jump in times of excitement. He loves all the attention and affection he can get and will provide you with much laughter, joy and unconditional love.
