About Mimi
Young Mimi came into the shelter in a rough trot and after some TLC from our staff here at the shelter, she is now ready to find her forever home.
Being a Beagle, Mimi tends to follow her nose rather than her ears. So she would benefit from going to a home who has experience with her breed and their requirements. Her new home must have secure and high fencing.
Mimi still has her puppy tendencies and is still learning some impulse control, so she would benefit from on-going positive and force-free training. She would also love lots of food enrichment toys in her new home to keep her nose and brain enriched.
Hoomans who are home more often then not would be best as she isn't a huge fan of being left alone. She would be best suited to a household with dog savvy hoomans. She is quite jumpy and boisterous when excited, so please ensure anyone under 12years old is present at the meet & greet so we can ensure everyone is comfortable. She would also prefer being the only pet in her new home as she has told us other doggos are too much for her.
