Venture

My name is Venture - here at the shelter they describe me as "adorable", "bouncy", "goofy". I love to play, especially with my toys. I have a lot of energy but also a lot of love to give, even if I'm a bit shy at first. I would love to find a forever home where my humans work with me on confidence-building and knowing that pats and even cuddles are something to enjoy.

I can be worried initially by new things and new environments, so will need reassurance and structure. I would also like to learn walking ie relaxed on loose lead beside you, instead of pulling. Calm and respectful teens would be my ideal human siblings. Any doggo friend in the home should be a calm, social male, to meet at time of adoption.

Dog parks are not for me, and I must tell you that I'm quite good at high jump - a 6ft colour bond fence is required to keep me contained and happy. So that my name "Venture" doesn't come true, please keep me inside the house with lots of interesting toys when you must go somewhere without me. (I've heard it on the grapevine that you humans do some things without taking us doggos along for company...)
