About Milo
Hi! I'm Milo, a friendly German Shepherd. My foster carers say I have the energy of a puppy, but the manners of a very mature good boy because I am fully toilet trained and I don't steal or chew stuff that doesn't belong to me. I can sit, shake, and - if the treats are good enough - I can stay, too.
Toys are my real weakness, though. I love rope toys, tennis balls, and big chewy balls too. I love playing fetch, but instead of dropping the ball at your feet, I usually make you run around to try and get it off me.
It might take me a visit or two to get to know you, but I will come to love you unconditionally (unless you're a soft toy, in which case I'll rip your legs and tail off, so my foster carers say don't waste your money on those).
Because of my size and Houdini-like skills, I need tall and secure fencing. I'd also love a spacious backyard for fetch and zoomies.
I love my walkies, and I can run after balls for hours. I'm very good at walking but I can be strong on the lead if I smell something intriguing (like one of those weird cat things). While I am energetic, I am also very good at chilling out. If you are working from home, or eating your dinner, or watching telly, I am happy chilling beside you or hanging out in the backyard.
I love bones, beef, wet food and snacks. I also love belly rubs and getting brushed! I might look like a big, tough farm boy but I actually love being inside your house, and if you let me lie on the couch and cuddle up to you, my eyes will be heart-shaped when I look at you. Storms are really scary and I need to be around my hoomans when we have them.
I would prefer a home with mature people as sometimes I forget my size and can knock little ones over. I might be compatible with another very calm dog, but if I can be your only pet, I would love soaking up all the attention that would give me!
Currently, I am in a foster home. If you think I'd be a good addition to your family, come and meet me!
