About Simba
Meet Simba! He is a very striking and handsome boy with a cheeky smile. He loves to stretch his legs and do zoomies. A very secure and large yard, with minimum 6 foot fences is needed for Simba.
Simba is people orientated so he will want to be inside with you, but might need some help with his toileting. He loves a good massage and pat, and loves water!
He doesn't have any foundational training, so his new owner/s will need to work on obedience training with him and find out what treats/toys are his best motivator for training. Simba is looking for an adult home who are comfortable with large breed dogs and have experience with huskies. Small children are not suitable as will be knocked over by his bounciness. No cats or other small animals will be too tempting to play chasey with so a home without them is a must.
Simba may be able to go home to another well-matched canine companion who is happy to engage with him and play with him to keep him company and help him learn doggy manners. They will need to be tolerant of his lack of socialization.
Because of Simba's breed mix, his will require lots of physical and mental stimulation every day, so he is looking for an active home.
If Simba sounds like the perfect pup for you, please enquire at RSPCA Peninsula or call on 5978 9001! As we know that he will be a challenge, Simba will be a foster to adopt dog, so that you will have the support of our vets and behaviour team to help him and you live happily ever after!
