Hi, I’m Zippy.
I’m a very affectionate and easy-going girl who would love to lounge around with my humans all day being doted on. I’d be best for a family who has owned dogs before and can engage with training me at home. I already know sit but I need training to walk nicely on lead and not pull too much.
I would absolutely love the company of children but due to my size and lack of manners I’d be better around kids who are at least 10 years old. I can jump up a lot and may accidentally knock someone over!
I have met other dogs here at the facility and tend to get along well with them so I’d be open to meeting other dogs. Bring them in to meet me if you have any! I’d also like a home with a yard to stretch my long legs and run around playing with toys. I looove playing with toys!
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
