A big boof of a boy could be best described as gentle, caring, funny and cuddly who will have you saying “AWWW” all day
Everyone that has met September (Seppe) has said 'oh he is delightful' and he really is.

September is one of a litter of 12
All of his litter siblings will be going up for adoption over the next week so if you are interested in a few of this litter please be sure to apply for each of them. You will only be successful for 1 puppy from this litter if selected

His Mummy is a 20 kilo Heeler x Bull Arab x and Daddy is a German Pointer x Staghound at 43 kilos so as September weighed in at 7.5 kilos at his vert appointment today we are thinking a med to large at full growth

Favorite things:
Seppe's favorite things are food, boxes and cuddles. He loves rice, meat and veggies but also happily eats his premium dry food. He loves a cardboard box to lay in but also equally he loves to shred it and flick the cardboard around. Whilst he happily plays with dog toys, he seems to love cardboard the best. He also loves a snuggle - right into your chest and he buries his face right in. He does this to everyone and charms us all as a result.

Interaction with Humans:
Seppe loves all humans. Being only a puppy he can be a little jumpy but has quickly learnt to sit and definitely knows the word no. He is not overly bitey (just puppy nibbles) but loves a game of pull rope. He has been around children (but not toddlers) and is very friendly towards them too.

Obedience/Training:
Seppe is very quick to learn. He picks up instructions very quickly and has easily mastered sit (unless playing and distracted) and also the word no. He is learning 'stay' and with lots of repetition and treats he will learn most instructions quickly. He hasn't been walked (came into foster young and hasn't been vaxxed). He travels very well in the car - barely a murmur. He is just happy watching it all go by.

Animal Social Skills:
Seppe has been fostered with his sister and they are amazing together. Playful, comforting and at times bossy - he loves being with her. He is also fostered with an older dog and cat - he loves them both a little too much - so if you have animals - they will need to be tolerant of his puppy enthusiasm! He has been exposed to other trusted dogs as well - and he is playful with them also.

Food:
Food is a big love of Seppe's. Anything and everything he can get his mouth on. He will push his little sister out of the way for her food - so he gets fed separately. That will be something the new owner will have to keep an eye on. He eats premium dry puppy food and a dinner of rice, veggies and meat.

Independance:
Seppe has seldom been alone. He is fostered with his sister and as mentioned, he does love to be with her. We have had him without her on the odd occasion and he seems to be ok. No crying or fretting - but I do think it will be a hard first few nights without her. When in the backyard they are happy playing, they have been left at home during working hours and they seem to be good and happy. They have a cozy kennel that they love, lots of options for snoozing and lots of toys available. Seppe loves a kong toy (with treats) and some zoomies around the yard. He hasn't been destructive - except to boxes!

Bathing and hygiene:
Seppe is very good in the bath and tolerates it well.

Sleeping:
During the day he happily sleeps in his kennel or on a dog bed in the sun. At night he sleeps in a crate in the garage and sleeps all night from 10 - 7. He makes very little noise and is generally a happy boy.

Inside the home:
Seppe is not toilet trained as yet due to his young age. He is very good at holding on - and overnight in the crate will not go to the toilet. So I expect that with training he will be able to be toilet trained. He will need to be let out on the grass first thing in the morning with a 'go wee' instruction.

Ideal home:
The ideal home for Seppe will be one where you have a backyard to play in, where you can walk him daily (once fully vaccinated) and one where cuddles and positive enforcement is readily available. He is such a sweetheart that we really hope whoever adopts him will enjoy his happy nature. He easily could be housed with other tolerant animals, and does not need his owners home all the time. He would be great with children who are gentle mature and dog savvy
If there is another dog in the home we are seeking a tolerant well soolased female dog who can tolerate young puppies
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pups puppies do teeth and have sharpe little puppy teeth
