About Pedro
Meet Pedro, a 15 week old tabby boy who is looking for his furever home!
Pedro is the perfect balance of calm and playful; he loves cuddles and pats, but also enjoys exploring and playing with his sister, Lucy. He's curious and loves strings, ribbons and playing fish phone games.
When Pedro first arrived at his foster home, he was quite scared and timid. But with some love and patience he has become increasingly confident- now he comes to you straight away for pats!
He's a little shy around small kids, but overall a low maintenance kitten who just needs some time to come out of his shell.
The ideal home for Pedro would be one that can give him some time to adjust, as well as plenty of fun toys to play with!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
