About Pogo
Pogo is a lovable goofball! He loves to chase feather toys on the string and swat at them with his phantom, and real legs alike.
When he learns to trust someone he'll approach you when it's quiet and climb up on your chest to sit and soak in lots of pats and chin rubs. He will have a chat with you, meowing back and forth making his funny little sounds and is the first cat I've found who likes to share popcorn with me while watching a movie.
Pogie insists on claiming the little round hammock on the cat tree as his sleeping spot and is a very inquisitive boy, open to going on supervised harness walks with his trusted human to protect him if he gets frightened.
Pogo is fearful of loud noises and thunderous feet. Small children will cause Pogo to stress so older children who know to be calm around him could be appropriate.
Pogo is fostering with two semi-calm dogs currently, but their loud outbursts of barking at the postie or chasing each other around the house sends him running terrified into a hiding spot for hours. A single friendly, calm dog may be appropriate, but it's important to consider Pogo's stress on a case-by-case basis.
Pogo is fearful of other cats and prefers to stay away. When he comes out of his shell and develops confidence Pogo's version of play sometimes across as rude to other cats (he likes to sneak attack).
Pogo needs a lion clip for his hygiene and comfort, approximately twice a year, because he can't get in the yoga pose to clean as easily as 4 legged cats.
