About Akiro
Akiro is now on the look out for his new home, could this be with you? Akiro sadly found himself in the pound where he sat for months before coming into rescue with us. He now craves human affection and doesn’t like being far from someone. This boy has plenty of stamina and drive so would best suit having a job to do, fly ball, agility, search and rescue or even a running buddy. He loves going for runs, loves people especially children. Akiro is currently learning how to settle and calm, this is a slow process as he gets anxious when not around humans but with time and patience’s he is understanding the rules. He has been to doggy day care and while he absolutely loves it he needs to have breaks to calm as he can be a little boisterous with some dogs. Akiro is a smart boy and will do anything for food, taking him to training is essential as this fella is keen to learn as much as you can teach him. Mental stimulation is just as important for him, food puzzles, kongs, searching for treats around the house. All these things will help wear that brain out and help him learn to calm a little more.
