About Polly
Hi my name is Polly! I am a pretty 8 month old kelpie mix girl. I have a lovely, sweet nature and I love to play games with all my dog friends!
Foster mum says I am REALLY smart! I love doing training with her and I learn fast. I sleep happily in my crate at night and know my basics - I am really just an overall good girl!
Once a week I go to doggy day school on a farm where I get to socialise with all sorts of different dogs - big ones, small ones and in-between ones too! I get along well with everyone and the humans love me!
Unfortunately I have had a health scare while in care and will require continued medication and vet checkups. Please read the medical section below for more details.
I would love an active home with another dog who loves to play as much as I do. My new family need to understand my working breed and provide me with lots of mental and physical stimulation each day. If you think you may be the perfect match, please send in your application (details in the box below)

Medical notes
Polly had a huge health scare and came very close to not making it. After some serious medication and vets throwing everything they could at her she seemed to have bounced back - unfortunately, a few days after completely her antibiotics, she took another turn. She is currently on prednisone for 6 months which is hopefully enough to get her through whatever it is that is making her poorly. Polly needs a home who will continue her treatment and will hopefully enjoy a long and happy life with her.
