Nugget and Pepe

Say hello to Nugget (orange and black) and Pepe (black and white). These beautiful boys were surrendered to the Refuge a few months ago. They were very scared and shy and it has been truely amazing to see the change in them. Nugget has become the biggest social butterfly and expects nose touches or head pats when you bring his food or before picking him up (if you don’t give him pats he proves to be more difficult to pick up). Pepe is the more shy one of the two but was given his name after the big lover of love, Pepe Le Pue - the moment you get this little man in your arms he nestles right into you and it feels almost like he’s giving you a big hug and if you get the right spot he gets very vocal about it, he has so much love it is contagious!! They are both just amazing companions both together and seperate, however bear in mind they tend to panic a bit if one is taken for cuddles and the other is not in sight. They LOVE cos lettuce and cucumbers, not too crazy about oxbow treats unless of course it’s got banana or the standard Timothy treats and if parsley is involved they tend to not like sharing their piece with each other. These boys would make any household just that more lively and special, future forever home - these boys are super eager to meet you!!

Nugget and Pepe must be adopted together as they are a bonded pair.
