Derek is looking for an experienced German Shepherd owner!

Derek was extremely nervous when he first entered our care and is slowly beginning to blossom. We don't think he has had much exposure during his short time on earth and he still has A LOT to learn before he is the goodest boy. Therefore, hoomans who understand his breed and their requirements would be best to ensure he thrives in his new home.

He still has puppy tendencies so he will thrive with ongoing positive and force-free training in his new home. He would be best suited in a home with dog savvy older teens and adults as he will be too much for young children.

Derek will require a home with no other animals but lots and lots of squeaky toys! He loves to run and chase big squeaky toys and balls.
