About Pepper
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Pepper was the spiciest little street kitten her foster carers had ever met, but she soon did a total one-eighty - blossoming into a smoochy, domestic queen in a matter of days!
After her rough start to life Pepper can still be a bit cautious around new people and loud noises, but once comfortable she absolutely lives for pats, neck scratches and cuddles :) Full of beans, she loves to play with her feline foster brothers, battle the dreaded pot plant and make chirping sounds wherever she goes!
This total sweetheart is usually good at sharing when it comes to treat time - however, she's recently discovered chicken necks and to say she's obsessed would be an understatement! If anyone tries to come between Pepper and her chicken neck, prepare for war... or at least some hilarious little growls :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Pepper is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, with (in a purrfect world) another cat sibling to play with! I really don’t like chaos or loud noises, unless me and my kitty buddies are responsible :)
Any big changes and new environments should be introduced slowly so that I can settle in at my own pace. I appreciate having somewhere to hide when needed, but usually I’ll hang with my friends and snuggle.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! My day is very much divided between play time and sleep time :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I'm still getting used to people, I can sometimes be a little skittish in new surroundings. I'll need patient and gentle human companions, so kids younger than school age might not be the best match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Are you also a cat? Good! Let’s be friends. Are you a dog? I don’t know what that is. For everyone’s benefit I should be introduced slowly to these mythical beasts.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
