Hello hello! I'm the beautiful and lovely August. Just like my namesake, I'm as sunny and warm as a spring day! I'd love nothing more than to come home with you and be your happy furry companion.

While I can be a little shy at first, some gentle words (and a few good pieces of chicken!) will help me come out of my shell. Once I'm feeling myself, I'll be showing you my sweet side in no time.

I love gentle affection, both in dishing it out and lapping it up. If I see you, don't be surprised if I come over offering some head bunts and kneading on soft surfaces. I adore getting long, luscious strokes and scritches under the chin. After all, a smoochy girl like me only deserves the best.

Oh, and I really love to explore around the house. It means I can find some extra nice hidey-holes for the future. And who knows? Maybe I can discover something new to show you!

**Special adoption**

I have been diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and require a home where I am kept safely indoors at all times, so I can live a long happy life and not risk the safety of other cats.

My new adopter will;
Have no other cats in the household OR only house with another cat that has an FIV positive status.
Agree to always keep the cat indoors or in a secure enclosure, such as a Catmax. (Allowing an FIV + cat to roam will not only put their health and wellbeing at risk, but also other non infected cats that may come in contact with them)
Have a property check prior to adopting

We recommend having a chat to your local vet about FIV to make sure you fully understand the virus.
