Pascall the loveable little Poodle x is a such a joy
This adorable little bundle of fluff is the sweetest,cutest bundle of puppy fun and at just 3.5 kilos this little lightweight will make the perfect addition to the small dog lover.
Favorite things
Pascall loves nothing more than snuggling with his fav Pokémon stuffy, chewing on his foster sister's ears, pulling her tail and demanding playtime, she equally loves this! Pascall is very food driven and he will do anything for a treat!
Friends
Pascall is very social with all kinds of people, big and small, he is not timid when meeting strangers, he seeks out affection and pats. he has a preference for goofy kids who will play for hours, chasing balls, playing tug of war,pascall is great with most dogs and is very good with a patient cat, he likes to play with the cat, but is not aggressive in anyway.
Exercise- while he can play for a long time, he also likes to rest for a while afterwards, pascall puts himself in his special rest crate for down time, pascall walks very well
On his lead, sometimes he gets excited and distracted by people or other dogs walking past, and needs to be redirected, he is learning “leave it” to try and keep him focused, sometimes pascal gets scared when other bigger dogs approach, he will growl a little bit, but when he gets to know larger dogs, he is fine, Pascall has lots of energy to burn, so would benefit from At Least an hours worth of exercise (at minimum) daily
Travel
pascall loves being in the car, he does well in a harness and seatbelt and in a crate for travel
Food
Pascall is grazing on royal canin puppy poodle food throughout the day and is supplemented with a lovely home made casserole for dinner, chicken necks for those extra white teeth 3x a week and dental chews once a day, he also enjoys the occasional chicken heart when he’s an extra extra good boy. Pascall eats with oomph! He would benefit from a slow feeder for wet foods if there isn’t another “healthy eater” in the house to help finish foods.
In the home/yard
Pascall is still a young puppy so does chew things he isn’t supposed to, he does drop and leave it when asked, as he does well in his crate,to avoid any mishaps, he is created when we leave for a short time, he doesn’t bark while we are out, but does get very excited and bark when we return. Pascall has begun toilet training onto a grass pad and outside, he still requires a stringent toilet regime to avoid accidents, when in his playpen he only uses his grass-pad, but needs to be supervised in the house for toilet cues, if missed he sometimes has accidents. Pascall does not have much interest in being outdoors except for walk and toileting, he prefers to be with someone in the house
Sleep
Pascall usually sleeps with his favorite teenager, or in his crate at night, we close off most areas so he cannot get into mischief, he does not prefer to sleep by himself at night.
The home I am seeking
Pascall would suit an active family home, or a very active couple. he does best surrounded by people or dogs who match his energy, as Pascall has not yet learned personal space, he may not suit a home that has grumpy dogs or cats, sometimes he gets the “leave me alone” growl confused with the “let’s play” growl.
Pascall would suite a chrome with children but due to his toy poodle x breed we are very mindful of his delicate developing bones and are not comfortable placing in a home with children not old enough to not drop him or fall on him
Due to his size and breed we seek an indoor only home with access to a yard for toileting and outdoor play.
We would be seeking a home with another dog if there is no one home during the day so he does not get lonely but the current dog must be tolerant of little pups who are playful and nurturing to be a role model and good influence on the sweet little man
Pascall will require regular grooming to keep his coat neat and clean
