About Joey
Meet Joey- a sweet boy ready for his forever home! He is very pro-social with other dogs and would benefit from another dog friend who wants to play and be with him! He is a very food-motivated boy who is a quick learner. He takes some time to warm up to new people but given time to adjust, quickly becomes affectionate and responsive. He is in need of a very secure yard, the bigger the better since he loves to run around! His new owners will need to commit to ongoing training with obedience and walking on lead. Since he is a big boy who can be boisterous, his new family need to be confident with his size and strength! He is better suited to a home with teens and adults only. You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
Burwood: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
