Bear

Meet Bear! This handsome boy is a 4.5 year old border collie mix on the lookout for his perfect forever home.

Bear would suit a family with older kids or a couple/person who are dedicated to his ongoing his training. Although Bear has come a long way, he still can get anxious and unsure of the world around him. He needs a family who have training experience, who have a good understanding of dog behaviour, are confident around dogs and will give Bear the support he needs.

Bear is super friendly toward people and most doggos. He is happy to hang out with his people most of the day, enjoys a game of tug and loves of swim! He especially loves a cuddle and will take all the belly rubs he can get!

Bear is crate trained, house trained and is learning lead pressure. He is food driven, extremely smart and loves to please. He is becoming more confident out and about however his new family will need to take things slow so he does not become overwhelmed.

Bear is not for the faint hearted but with consistent boundaries, loads of love and perseverance, this handsome boy will make a loyal mate.
