Gregory Grey - 1 Year Old DSH (On Trial)

Gregory Grey, Greg, for short is a 12 month old boy who is on the hunt for a place to call home.

Greg was being fed by someone who sadly decided he could no longer look after Greg. Greg had been a stray cat in the area. We are not sure how long Greg had been fending for himself but he is not an unsocial boy. He is super friendly.

Greg has settled really well in foster care. He is actually loving being inside, lapping up the comforts of a home. He is a purring machine.

Greg loves a pat but he needs time to settle in as was getting a little overwhelmed with the attention and let us know when he had enough so we tend to give him short bouts of pats. He is becoming more relaxed every day he is with us.

We think Greg is best suited to a quieter home, a home without children due to not knowing much about his past. He would make someone a great companion cat.

He has been exposed to two medium size cat friendly dogs and the family’s own cats. At this stage he is a bit wary of all of them.

Greg loves his food and has had no issue using his litter tray. He needs to be an inside boy only unless willing to harness train him or have a cat enclosure for him to have some time in. Greg spends his days lazing on the lounge and then hanging with the family of a night.

Greg is in foster care in the Merewether Heights, NSW area. They are NOT currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $125.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
