About Lana
Lana is a beautiful 12 yr old Mixer.
She came to us as a private surrender, and was explained to us that she has been an outside dog, all her life.
When we first saw a pic of her we noticed this massive lump on her shoulder (1.8kg).
Soon as she was surrendered she went straight to one of our vets, and was booked in to surgery the following day.
She has recovered extremely well, considering.
Lana has been an inside/outside dog since been in foster care and loves the fact she has her very own bed, in her fur mums bedroom. She is completely toilet trained, she walks beautifully on lead for her daily walks.
She has been experienced so many ‘firsts’ in her golden years, and still has so many to experience with her new family.
She is fantastic with children, but we recommend a little older, due to her age.
Great with other dogs, but we think a relaxed quieter dog would suit her.
She does bond very quickly to her person, so she would love to be an only dog as well.
We are looking for that very special home, that really wants to help a rescue dog.
Lana is the poster child of giving your heart to a furkid that has been through hell and has finally found what it’s like to be loved and cared for.
Lana is on the Gold Coast, but we are willing to take her to her special home.
Adoption Fee - $200
Medical notes
Has had a 1.8kg tumour removed from her shoulder.
Otherwise very healthy for a senior pet.
Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
