ABOUT RUSTY

Beautiful Rusty craves love and affection. He's a low-maintenance guy who is happy to sit on your lap all day long. He is used to being with a pack of other dogs and would love to have a companion dog to play with. He doesn't bark at outside noises and only gets upset if another animal comes past his crate while having dinner.

Since being in foster care he has taken well to crate training and will happily take himself to bed at night. He likes having a 'safe place' to snuggle. In the right family, I imagine he would love to snuggle in bed with you all night. He is already trained to use a doggie door so having easy access to a secure yard will help to continue his toilet training.

He's recently started to play with plush toys and is becoming more playful as his confidence grows. Rusty enjoys going in the car and is very well-behaved. He loves to sit in a pet stroller and go shopping all day with you. He is super welcoming with new people and would benefit from more manners training.

Rusty would suit a quiet calm home as yelling and chaos makes him nervous. His number one priority is love, affection, and positive reinforcement from his humans.
