About Shelby
💕💕 Available for Adoption!! 💕💕
This gorgeous young lady is Shelby. She’s a thirteen week old Huntaway x Kelpie pup. Shelby and her littermates came to SoCares as unmicrochipped strays. They were underweight and all had parasites 😢
Not any more though! Shelby (and her sister Sage) have been in foster care with Kylie and her family, who have given them crucial TLC, socialisation and exposure to normal household activities. Shelby is now ready for her furever home. Here’s what Kylie has to say about Shelby;
“Shelby is a sweet, energetic girl who loves a cuddle, eating her own food and anyone else's she can get to! She is a clever little miss who can use the dog door, sit on command and she takes herself outside (for the most part) to do her business and play. She would love a home with another energetic dog to play with and owners with time to take her for walks. She walks on a lead well.”
Being a working breed mix, you can expect Shelby to be energetic AND clever. She will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation. She definitely will NOT suit a situation where she’s left in a back yard for long stretches of time.
Shelby’s adoption fee is $800. This includes desexing (when she’s old enough), microchipping, up to date flea, tick and worming treatments, lifetime registration and a course of puppy preschool classes.
If you think Shelby would be a good fit for your family, you can arrange to meet her by expressing your interest online.
