Barney - 10 Week Old Labrador X (On Hold)

Introducing Barney, Labrador X puppy aged 10 weeks

This lucky little boy was born on Boxing Day along with his 7 brothers and sisters. Barney has the most arresting grey/brown eyes, floppy ears, a lovely soft brown slight brindle coat, a Niki swish nose, white chest and white socks all of which make him very handsome and unique.

Barney is not a high energy puppy and is very easy going except when rumbling with his sister sibling or food is in the offering. He is very affectionate, loves his cuddles, tummy rubs and human company but also enjoys quiet time to himself for naps. Barney uses a doggie door to freely access the outside lawn and inside his room through the day.

Barney is crate trained for night sleeping, sleeps quietly all night. His grass toilet training is coming along very well, only an occasional wee accident inside.
Barney has started lead training and walks willingly on a harness. He loves his walks, is very brave, inquisitive, interested in sniffing and investigating new surroundings, also loves to pick up a take home stick. He is also learning not to jump up, to sit for pats, treats and food placement. He’s an intelligent puppy and a quick learner

Due to that big X, which matches his paws, Barney will most likely grow into a medium to large dog. He is best suited to a family
• who is prepared to have a large dog and all that goes with it
• who can commit to ongoing training, regular exercise, socialisation, mental stimulation and opportunities for games, play and lots of L O V E and ADVENTURE!

Barney is microchipped, flea, tick and worm treated and had his first vaccination. He is not desexed and will need to attend a DRN approved vet clinic when around 6 months of age. For this reason he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas. Barney is NOT available for inter-state adoption
