This little sweetheart is Phoebe, a 14 week old Kelpie x Staffy pup. Phoebe came to SoCares as an unmicrochipped stray. Sadly, no one came looking her. The shelter environment is no place for babies, so Phoebe was placed in foster care with the wonderful Emma. Here’s what Emma has to say about Phoebe;

“Phoebe is very friendly and is an absolute water baby 💦 She loves swimming, other dogs and humans. She also loves a snuggle. Phoebe’s fully toilet trained now.”

Phoebe’s adoption fee is $800. This includes desexing (when she’s old enough), microchipping, up to date vaccination, worming, flea and tick treatments, lifetime registration and a course of puppy preschool classes.

Being a puppy, Phoebe will need a family committed to her ongoing training, so she can develop into the best canine citizen she can be. Phoebe will not do well left alone for long stretches of time. She would be better suited to a home where someone is home more often than not, or works part time. The company of a friendly doggy companion would also be great.
