Juno

We would like to introduce you to our Maremma Sheepdog, Juno, who we are trying to help find a perfect home. This gorgeous little white ball of fur grew quite quickly into a big white ball of fur and we are hoping to find a family who can help her become the best dog she can be.

Juno is many things - a loyal companion, a protector, a goofball, a big lick right in your face if you are at her eye level and a very warm blanket on cold nights. She is also very independent, comes to her name only sometimes and does not walk very well on the lead. She can be very hesitant and nervous with new people and anxious around loud noises so Juno's new family will need to be patient with her until she settles. We will work with her new owners to ensure Juno's transition is comfortable for everyone.

After observing Juno for some time we believe her forever home may be where she is an only dog who can spend her days laying at your feet and then taking herself off for a walk outside when the mood takes her.

She gets along well with other dogs and cats and children, but we think she just might prefer to be on her own with her new family.

Although we don't believe Juno needs to have a large property, she does like to let you know when she hears noises and for that reason, perhaps a larger property may be better for her without as many distractions as a smaller town block.
