About Oliver
Looking for a sweet-natured and affectionate puppy that loves absolutely everyone?
Please meet OLIVER, a German Shepherd/Kelpie mix born in September 2022.
Kelpie Shepherds are a relatively new and increasingly popular breed mix. These dogs contains a double dose of intelligence, trainability, loyalty and engagement. They're keen to please and need a sense of purpose in life, whether that's achieved by being the best companion, the best family dog, the best running mate, the best office dog etc. The Kelpie Shepherd just loves having a job to do.
Oliver is an affectionate pup, great with kids and other dogs. He's even cat-friendly.
He has fallen head over heels in love with his foster mum and snuggled up in her arms is heaven-on-a-stick for him. He loves the rest of the family, too, but "Mum" is best.
Oliver has the potential to be a super canine companion or family dog and at his age would easily fit into most dog-loving homes. The early puppy months are behind him.
Oliver's exercise needs are moderate and are most easily met if he has a canine companion. To be content, he will also need a moderate amount of mental stimulation, which can come through games, human companionship, obedience and/or agility training etc.
He weighed 9.75 kgs on 7 March 2023 and is on track to be a medium-sized dog, although he does have large Shepherd paws to go with those amazing Shepherd ears.
Oliver's adoption fee is $950 and he's desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
If you are interested in meeting him, please complete the online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Kindly ensure that you include photos of your yard and fencing.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for him to play with.
He lives in Warwick, Queensland and is available for interstate adoption to an approved applicant.
