Gene

Lovable, gentle and playful is the best way to describe young gene. He came to paws with filthy matted hair stuck to his beautiful brown eyes which must have been terribly painful and frightening for him. Now the world is definitely his oyster with so much to do and see and gene is certainly lapping up his new life! gene is an active dog and would love someone to give him a good run in the park. He adores his toys and has a special soft spot for toilet rolls, which are lots of fun to roll around the floor! gene is well socialised and we would like to rehome him with another young desexed dog to be his forever companion. He does not like cats and will chase them away so a home without furry felines is a must. Gene has a funny long tongue which reminds his foster carers of gene simmons from kiss. . . . . Hence his name. He loves his food and, after a good feed, will nestle against any available person for cuddles, pats and affection. Gene is house trained and must have indoor access at all times as he is a house dog. Regular brushing and grooming is essential to prevent gene from becoming matted again and will keep his coat in great condition. Gene comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic).
