About Coal
Coal is a very confident and playful black & tan Kelpie girl with a lot of natural drive. She is the biggest pup in the litter and often the first to adventure out and dive into new experiences.
She is an energetic girl and loves nothing more than a game of tug. She will engage in the game at length and is determined to be the the 'winner'! While not yet tested with livestock, in the right hands Coal may excel at this type of work, or other forms of dog jobs or sports that will keep her driven and focussed.
Coal is usually far too busy for quiet cuddles so would be best suited in a job as a farm companion, or a sidekick for someone super active who needs a loyal and dedicated best mate.
It is not hard to predict that Coal will be a very clever girl, who with the right guidance, will develop into a fantastic dog.
Coal has been handled and socialised from birth and welcomes human interaction. Her mother is a beautifully natured, affectionate, and friendly dog.
Coal displays the typical busy, high drive and active traits of her breed. She needs a home with people experienced with working dog breeds, able to provide the right kind of ongoing training, and a commitment to both physical and mental stimulation. She is not suited to inner city living, apartments, townhouses or small suburban blocks.
If you can offer this little firecracker a fantastic, fulfilled life and loving home, don’t delay and apply today!!
**Coal is located in VIC and able to join her new family after 8 weeks of age..
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
