On Hold
About Summer
Summer is cheeky and outgoing. This little fellow loves to play almost as much as he loves attention and food. He has a fondness for shoelaces and climbing your leg if you forget him for too long. He is however easy to distract with toys!
He was found sopping wet with his siblings and mother in recent violent storms, they had been living under a house after mum (probably because she was pregnant) had been dumped - this sad little family was washed out from under the house with localised flooding due to heavy rainfall.
Since being rescued, he has been weaned and adapted incredibly well to becoming a spoilt indoor kitten. His thirst for adventure and fun drives him to be bold and brave. He is chatty especially when he wants to be cuddled or held. He loves company; both feline and human.
He would be best suited to a family home where he has a feline sibling. A young cat or kitten would be best to match his energy levels. If you place him with another kitten or cat, he will have his own support network; playmate, friend, someone to cuddle up with when his people are busy and someone who will keep him from getting into any mischief.
CCAR will negotiate a reduced adoption fee if you choose to adopt more than one cat or kitten from us.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
