About Scott
At just under 2 years old, Scott is looking for a new home.
Scott tries hard to be a good boy and is very loving and affectionate to his owner to the point of being overprotective. Although he is doing a very good job, it has caused some problems with other members of the household which is causing stress to all involved.
Scott would ideally suit a quiet home without too many visitors. He would be very happy if there were already an established and friendly female or a submissive male dog at home to help him relax. Scott would love to have a garden to explore.
Scott really enjoys his daily walks. Being a typical dachshund, he does sometimes bark at other dogs and strangers, but he mostly minds his own business.
Due to Scott's anxiety, he would not be suitable for flights. As he has nipped before he is not suitable in a home where there are young children/grandchildren.
If you would like to adopt Scott and are prepared to help this little boy overcome his protective issues, please fill in an adoption form to apply.
