George

Little George is a sweet dappled boy who will return affection given tenfold!

George, or affectionately know as Porge, has many endearing traits that make him an easy boy to fall in love with.

Super affectionate with his owners, George will relish being your lap warmer in Winter. George is toilet trained and will happily wander outside to do his business.
George responds very well to reward based training....he is a clever little boy and is super keen to learn when he knows there is a treat involved!  George loves to play with his ball, produce a tennis ball and you will have his immediate attention.
Any type of outdoors adventure is greeted with great enthusiasm by George.  He loves car rides - feeling the wind in his little face and his ears flapping around is just great fun for George.

George is also quite a nervous little boy and will require a dachshund experienced owner who can help bring out the best in him.  (he is on vet prescribed medication for anxiety) Although currently living with another dog, George may be best suited to being an only dog as he can be quite picky as to whom he decides is friend or foe. When out walking, George can also be selective over which dogs he chooses to bark at.   George resource guards his food, so we feel a home without small children would also be best suited.  A home where someone is home more than not and has a calm predictable routine would be most beneficial.
