About Boris
Meet Boris, the adventure cat!!
Boris is an adventure cat, always ready to explore new environments on his harness with his human by his side. He loves an active lifestyle and long walks on the beach (or rolling on grass).
Boris is a chatterbox who shows his enthusiasm through chirps, meows, and yowls. He also loves to climb, play, and learn new tricks. He requires at least 2 hours of intentional enrichment and stimulation through walks and other play based activities a day to keep him happy and healthy
This cat loves everyone so you'll be sure to stop and say hello to other cat friendly dogs on a walk. He would love another furry friend to play with at home for moments when his human is occupied.
Boris is longing for a home that can keep up with his active personality. So, if you lead an active lifestyle, are ready for adventures, and can provide lots of stimulation, then he would love to meet you
A one person house may not be perfect for Boris because he benefits from pretty consistent attention. There are a few hours a day he wants to have a snooze (and loves the bathtub or my pot plants for that) but when he wakes up he’s ready for play or a walk so can be hard if working.
He’s not a lap cat but he loves to rub himself against people to show his affection. He gets disgruntled when his stimulation routine is disrupted but he’s not super food motivated so doesn’t really mind if we are a little late for feeding time.
His leash training is very good. He seems to understand that slight tension on his lead means that it’s a no-go area. He also gives off very easy to read cues e.g. his ears go back if he doesn’t like the dog approaching him. When he’s finished his walk he’ll go between the person’s legs that is walking him and then climb himself in the carrier once opened for him.
He doesn’t like driving in the car and his yowls are pretty loud (typical bengal) but the only other time we have heard that really loud yowl was when he hadn’t had enough mental and physical enrichment.
He will need someone who knows he needs and who is willing to give him a tonne of consistent attention.
