About Murphy
❤️ Murphy aka Magnum is ready to find his forever home ❤️
Our sweet Murphy is a dog who no one will forget in a hurry.
Saved from a rural nsw pound, Murphy was beaten and bruised with a belly full of rat sack when pound workers arrived to find him like that tied to the fence of the pound overnight.
Vets worked around the clock on bringing a gravely ill dog back to health and as soon as they had succeeded, he had no where to recuperate except for at the pound where he was found,
When we heard that, we couldn't even think of leaving him there and the ranger thought it would be a great thing to get him as far away as possible from the evil person who did this to him so it could never ever happen again. So off to Victoria he went
Those who saw his photo, will agree, it's a photo that you will never forget.
Now that's all behind him, he is healthy and happy & more than ready to find the family who will give him the love and stability he should have recieved in the first few years of his life.
Murphy is approx 2 years old and is a Staffy x umm rabbit maybe 😁?!
And is the sweetest boy around with those ears just adding more character to him.
His current foster carers cant understand how a dog could be mistreated as badly as he was, and yet still loves and wants to be with people. This shows just how big and special this boys heart really is.
But no living being could go through such a traumatic past without it effecting them in some way and with Murphy, it's the fear of abandonment again that really haunts him.
When he is left for long periods, he doesn't bark or wreck anything but he does cry and gets depressed until his people return to him. Then he thinks it's Xmas again!
So a home where someone is home more often than not, or a home where there is a calm canine friend to keep him company is ideal.
He isn't fond of dogs who are boisterous and in his face but is quite fond of the quiet, well balanced pooches who he can relax with after a good game of tug or chasey
Murphy surprisingly loves people of any age but isn't a fan of cats.
He loves the car, he loves going for walks and he will love to have a family who will treat him as a valued family member, who will love him and who he can love in return.
Murphy is being Desexed next week so will be available shortly after that
If you think you're the family who can make him forget about his past and show him what life is really like, please fill in the form below.
