About Amy
AVAILABLE TO MEET AT PETSTOCK MELROSE PARK. PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE
Hi, my name's Amy. I am one of the 29 cats and kittens that Hisses to Purrs took in from a house with 45 cats and kittens!
I'm a smoochie girl who loves pats. I'm a bit more laid back than my siblings and would much prefer to sit on laps getting attention than joining them in their shenanigans. That's not to say I'm not playful, I am, I just love human attention so much that I'll spend my time looking for love when humans are around.
My purrfect home is one that will give me tons of love, attention, toys and who will keep me indoors as I'm pure white and will be more prone to skin cancer. If you have an enclosure, I'll be able to go in it as long as it has shaded areas.
Amy has been:
- Tried with cats and is fine with them
- Tried with teenagers and is fine with them
- Tried with a large-breed cat-friendly dog and was fine with them
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a shaded enclosure only***
Amy is 4 months old (DOB: 26/10/22) and her adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st vaccination
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatments up until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Amy is available to meet at PETstock Melrose Park.
If you would like to meet her, please head to 1089 South Road Melrose Park and speak to one of the lovely staff members.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
