Litte boy Flynn, where do I even start! Flynn is a confident and very smart little male hound (the smallest male hound I’ve ever seen!) He is a very cuddly guy who will literally climb onto your lap if you invite him up. He’s always keeping us laughing with his funny antics and has become a sanctuary favourite!
Flynn loves to play games with toys or just sleep on the couch with you (or, on top of you!). Flynn has met other breeds of dogs and we’ve had no issues at all, he has met a small dog on a lead and was fantastic. He is also very smart! He has already taught himself how to use the doggy door and has learned his name very quickly.
While Flynn has been great with small dogs, he does have a moderate prey drive towards the chickens, so we will be looking for a home with no cats or small pets.
He would be suited to almost any housing situation so long as he gets plenty of walkies and lots of mental stimulation to keep his clever little brain happy. Flynn is not yet a Greenhound but we believe he would pass the test with flying colours.
He will need to remain on his lead at all times while out as he doesn’t have a solid
recall yet and being a greyhound can zoom off in a flash. I would recommend avoiding dog parks in the early days of him adjusting to his new family and to avoid him getting too overwhelmed.
If you’re looking for a little goofball who is incredibly clever, is happy to go for a walk or stay in and snuggle, and is FULL of love, Flynn is your guy.
If you think you can give Flynn the most perfect of homes please complete an application form, Flynn really is so special and I can’t wait to help him find his perfect forever home.
Please note: Some people have experienced an error with the form not being sent when clicking “submit” if this happens to you please email me at kate@elysianfieldssanctuary.com.au so I can double check it has been received.
Adoption details
After rehabilitation a profile is created of the animal to help find them the perfect match. Applicants can apply via my website using the application form. A house inspection (can be virtual) is required and then a visit can be arranged. If all goes well a two week trial in their new home begins, after completion of the two weeks the adoption will be finalised.
