About Sylvester
Meet Sylvester!
This adorable black and white kitten is snuggly, playful, and full of love. Sylvester loves to climb his cat tree and race around the house with his foster siblings.
He'll often curl up in your neck as you wind down for the night, or chase his favourite little mouse toy around the living room. In the morning you can find him lying in a sunny spot near a window, soaking up the sun's warmth and purring contentedly.
Sylvester is an affectionate and gentle soul who will make a great addition to any family. He is happy to be cuddled by gentle kids and is learning that the dog isn’t so scary!
If you're looking for a furry companion to bring joy into your life, look no further than Sylvester!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
