About Peaches
Peaches has had a rough life. Unfortunately 2 years ago, she was found in a skip bin, having been discarded like trash. What should have been a good outcome was sadly ruined by the fact that after this event, she went to live with a well intentioned animal hoarder. For the past two years she's lived in a flea infested home, competing with rats for food.
Now, you would think with this background, Peaches would be a forever grateful and appreciate bunny, who behaves like a girl who's been rescued. But oh no... Peaches acts like she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, like she's from royal lineage, is as fussy as they come with food and demands attention and pats. She has entered the shelter, and has very high expectations on how we should serve her every whim. I wouldn't dare say this to her face, but let me tell you, she behaves like a spoiled brat! Maybe it's from living around sooo many cats, but what her favourite food is one day, she'll turn her nose up at the next. You fill her bowl, and she will delicately nibble some of the food on top. That's it, she would rather starve than eat any more from that bowl, so you fill a second bowl up with the same food and she'll repeat the process, eating from the top and discarding the rest. It's not that she's "saving the food", she would just rather starve than touch it again.
We never know the background of our rescues, but I am willing to take on a bet that Peaches is a lop cross rex. I can see so much rex in her... the intelligence, her mannerisms. She will charge at you and shove her head at your for pats, with no "please" or "thank you". She is always after pats and attention, at any time of the day or night. You are her slave, and heaven forbid if you mention there are other animals to attend to.
Peaches is a gorgeous girl, and her next chapter in her life will be exactly what she expects. She knows she was put on this earth for better things. She deserves the life she was entitled to. Slaves may put their applications in, because we are in charge of her new home now, and she's expecting grandeur. Don't bother if you have a measly hutch, this girl is moving up!
