About Billy
If you are interested in Billy, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/w1iDu99Rx4PpvG7e7
Meet Billy!
Billy is a young and energetic pup looking for his perfect home. He wouldn't mind living in a house or apartment and he isn't fazed by busy city noises like cars or construction sounds.
He would be best suited to a household with older kids, 8 years and above, who will understand his energy and help him learn to channel it in positive ways. He can be jumpy, so he's probably best not around small children due to his strength.
Billy is good with other breed dog and has trained some alone time (with foster greyhound sister) and settles after some time, so alone time will need to be built up gradually (as with every new doggy). Naturally, he would be happiest with someone who is home more often than not.
He loves his walkies, at first he can be a bit strong on the lead, but willbe okay if given a bit of lead for him to sniff around. He knows where the toilet is and he holds toileting overnight
New dog owners should have no problem taking care of Billy as long as they are confident in handling his behaviour taking items from around the house. With patience and love, this pup will make a great addition to any family!
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
