Introducing Mr Tui, an XL size Dachshund X Mastiff with a heart to match. He is around the size of a Large standard Dachshund.
Despite challenges in his early life dealing with major surgeries, to correct his malformed front leg by our specialist surgeon in Brisbane.
(In the last 2 pics you can see how his leg was before surgery as well as an X-ray.)

Tui is a delightful young dog and loves nothing better than to chase after a ball or play with his human. He does love chasing and playing with fluffy toys, but he can be a little over enthusiastic if left unsupervised.
Do not leave him alone with a tennis ball or fluffy toy! He is also an expert at extracting treats from his wobble kong.

He enjoys a good walk but is still learning manners when it comes to reacting to bigger dogs. He is motivated by food and incredibly smart and responds well to training. He is not fussy when it comes to eating and never leaves anything in his bowl. A bonus if he ever has to take medication!

He comes with the inbuilt Dachshund alert if someone is at the front door that he does not know but is a good and quiet boy when his family is home. And did I mention he is quiet as a peep at night unless he is desperate to go outside for toileting and will let you know rather than mess in the house. Full marks for toilet training. 

Tui has been used to being fostered with other Dachshunds and we feel a small mate would be good for him.

He does suffer from some separation anxiety when left for long periods so would suit a home where someone is around for most of the day to give him lots of love. 

Impressively he does not chase the water dragons or lizards at my house so he is also environmentally friendly 😊

In short, he is a sweet natured little (or not so little) doggie who will bring joy and fun to his forever home.
