About Teddy
Unfortunately, our gorgeous boy Teddy is once again looking for his forever home, due to no fault of his own. This boy needs time and patience for him to settle in to a new home, as he has been through a lot! Once settled in this boy will show his true colours and be your best buddy.
Teddy is a 6-year-old male cavoodle who came into our shelter very scared, matted and with a massive ear infection. We have worked long and hard with our vets over the past couple of months to treat his pain and the infection and can happily report that Teddys ear has a clean bill of health! It took some time for Teddy to gain enough trust to settle in, but he has come a long way since then!
Not only is Teddy great with cats and other dogs, but he is also very well behaved. He loves going for walks on the lead and shows off his best manners when meeting new people - although he can still be a little nervous at first. With patience and TLC, once he gets to know you Teddy will become your snuggling companion.
Teddy would thrive in a home with another small doggy friend. After all he's been through, Teddy deserves a second chance at happiness in an understanding home – one where he can finally feel safe and loved!
Teddy has been desexed, up to date with his vaccinations. microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $800.00.

Medical notes
When Teddy first came to us, he was desexed, clipped and was found to have moderate dental disease and a severe infection in his right ear.
He had teeth removed and a scale and polish under GA at the time of desexing.
Teddy was given a course of antibiotics for his ear infection. He responded well to this treatment over the course of a month and ear was found to be healthy and clear of infection at his latested vet review on 10/3/2023. Vet suggests review in 6-12 months time if concerned.
Teddy otherwise passed his vet check.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
