About Dot
Meet Dot, the cutest and cuddliest kelpie x cattle dog! With the most affectionate personality and a gorgeous smile, this sweet girl will have you wrapped around her paw within minutes!
Dot is an active girl who loves going on bushwalks and adventures, especially if they involve water! We haven't done a DNA test, but we're pretty sure she's crossed with some kind of fish – she will swim and swim and swim for as long as you let her. Once she's had her exercise, she has a great off-switch and snoozes the day away while her carer works from home.
This country girl is still getting used to the world, and is a bit unsure at first with new people and situations. With a bit of guidance, she comes around very quickly and soon seeks pats from everyone. But she would prefer to live in a quiet area as city life would be too overwhelming.
Dot loves to play with other dogs, but is a bit shy around unfamiliar dogs. With a little patience and slow introductions, she'll soon be zooming around and having fun. If you already have a dog at home, she would be best matched with a playful and easy-going male.
Dot has great inside manners, is toilet trained, travels well in the car, and sleeps all night in her crate without a peep.
She is looking for active humans who will allow her inside as part of the family, give her plenty of physical and mental stimulation and include her in all their adventures.
If you think Dot is the best mate you’ve been missing, send us an application outlining the life you can offer.
Dot is located in ACT.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
