Chip

Chip is an extremely lovable gentleman looking to fill up your home with a lot of love. He enjoys to be the center of your world and will always greet you with enthusiasm upon your return home.

He loves playing games such as fetch, chase, finding hidden toys, and tug of war; but he is also very gentle and affectionate, often snuggling up to his people or lying on top of them when he gets the chance! Chip isn't just a cuddler though – he's also quite a good listener, and loves it when his people chat with him.

Chip isn't without his quirks - he thinks he's a kookaburra and likes joining in on their concerts - but that just makes him all the more endearing! This sweet soul also needs extra special care due to being sensitive to loud noises, like thunderstorms and motors. The vet has suggested medication that can help manage his anxiety. Sadly, Chip's owners are not always home and able to help when he needs it. For this reason and out of best interest of Chip, they are looking for someone that can provide that extra bit of care. Chip is untested with kids or other dogs (other than his father).

But despite these needs, Chip is a very good boy who knows the basic commands - come, sit, lie down, roll over, stay, and can wait patiently until given the all clear to munch up all the treats. Preferably, Chip is looking for a home in a rural environment.
