About Louie
Meet Louie! This friendly pup is an absolute delight. Louie is an incredibly sociable and friendly boy who loves his people and his toys. Louie loves to play and is happiest when he'schasing his favourite squeaky toys or balls around. His next favourite thing is hanging out with you and watching tv. A close third favourite is a bbq chicken dinner!
Louie also loves his walks and would be happy to get out and about in any weather. He is generally great on the lead but can get excited and pull a little at first. He would happily go for two adventures each day, but would be content to snooze at your feet every evening as long as he's had one walk and some playtime!
Louie would love a backyard to play and explore in. He would even potentially be happy to share his new home with another friendly dog. He can sometimes be a little nervous meeting larger dogs, but his happy-go-lucky nature has seen him make friends with all sorts of dogs at the park. Louie hasn't met too many cats but doesn't think he'd like to live with one.
Louie has grown up having his favourite human at home with him, so he would prefer his new family to be home more often than not. He can bark a bit if left alone for long periods, so might suit a home without neighbours right on the doorstep. If you work from home, even better! Louie will sleep by your side while you work, then walk with you down to the cafe for your morning coffee or grab some lunch.
Whilst Louie likes to have you around a whole lot, he isn't constantly demanding cuddles. Louie knows to turn on the charm when he wants your attention, especially if you are working; he will rest his head on the chair, look up at you, and wag his tail. How could you refuse? Also, when he wants you to play, he sprawls himself out on all fours wanting you to try and take his toy. Not only that, but whenever your leave and then return, he'll wag his little tail like he's the happiest boy alive, because he is! Now all he needs is to meet you!

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
